We are a joint initiative of four academic centers of excellence located in different geographic regions of Latin America (El Colegio de Mexico, Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, IESP-Rio de Janeiro State University in Brazil, and Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Argentina). It emerged as a point of convergence among institutions with track records in research, teaching, and outreach in the social sciences and international studies, committed to stimulating public debate and contributing to the improvement of policies for citizens. Our university consortium is built upon years of academic collaboration among many of its members, who have developed extensive networks and contacts with the worlds of civil society, public policy, and diplomacy.
